Start at Seveys Point (gas, food, parking), make your way down trail 7A to Little Blue Mountain which has a beautiful overlook view of the foothills of the Adirondacks! The trip up Little Blue Moutain is a short one, and not terribly challenging. As time and conditions allow, it will be periodically groomed as it is a more narrow trail.
Continue down C8 onto C8E into South Colton which allows for a few options for food: Mahogany Ridge, Red Pine Cone or Boyce’s. Boyce’s also has fuel.
After some eating, head out on trail C8E and hang a right on C8D and follow it to C8 back to Troopers Shed. South of Trooper Shed there is a rest stop. From Trooper Shed I follow C8 to intersection 25 left and left at 26 (S88) and back onto trail C7A to Seveys Point.
