This route is recommended in a clockwise direction. Cycle first to Morley, where the route crosses the scenic Grasse River the first time -- there is a view of an old grist mill from the bridge. In Morley, if you turn left at the intersection of County Route 27 and County Route 14, a short detour will take you to an interesting old Episcopal church and cemetery. Continue on the main route along the Grasse River to Bucks Bridge, to cross the river a second time. A rider with a keen eye will see a small flock of Peking ducks on the east bank of the river while crossing at Bucks Bridge. Cycle to West Potsdam and back to Canton through prime farmland. This route has rolling hills and some stretches can be windy, but it is still a good route for a laid back rider.
