This small lot is the perfect spot to stretch your legs on a long drive while enjoying the peaceful view and distant roar of Jamestown Falls. There is an access road that is fully drivable by car in the warm weather months that brings you to a parking area at the water’s edge of the Raquette River. If you wish to explore the area more, there is a boat launch for small craft and canoes, allowing for a serene paddle in the flatwater up close to the base of the falls.
In the winter, you can park near the road and walk in to enjoy the snowy river views.
